Art Talk and Afternoon Tea featuring Patricia Caldwell
Pike Road Town Hall
Sunday March 10th 2019 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Enjoy the cultural experience of an authentic English Afternoon Tea coupled with a talk by local River Region artist Patricia Caldwell. A landscape/seascape oil painter who finds inspiration from her regional and worldwide travels, this painter’s passion is for the viewer to have an emotional connection to her art. Shapes and the reflections of sunlight off boats and water quicken her pulse. Growing up in the south, she was inspired by the impact she felt from the colors and majesty of the forest, water and the mountains. The artist’s vitality and energy come from the bold use of palette knife and bright colors. Normally her many layers of under color remains visible so the viewer can consider her works beautiful as is, or awaiting their unique interpretation.
Wear a fun hat and have your picture taken in front of the grand staircase at Buckingham Palace!
Doors will open at 1:45pm.
